Dear province: what is on the table?

Heat pump rebates in Canada, province by province

Canada has one federal heat pump rebate coming and a different set of provincial programs for each province. The federal one is pending: a grant of either $2,000 or up to $10,000 (for low- to median-income households). Estimate, not guaranteed. Last checked October 22, 2026. The table below shows the rest.

We are a private heat pump installer, not the government. Every row links to the people who run the program.

Before you install

Some programs need approval before the work starts. Others need a registered installer or a listed unit. Read the page for your province before you book. Skipping a step can cost you the provincial rebate.
