Accessibility at Heat Pumps Rebate

Anyone should be able to read this site, check a rebate and reach us. If something on the site does not work for you, tell us and we will find another way.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA. We have not claimed full conformance, and we keep working on it. We also treat people with disabilities with the same respect as everyone else, in a way that lets you stay independent, and we talk with you in the way that works for you: phone, email or in person.

• Keyboard. Links, buttons, tabs and form fields are meant to work with a keyboard. A "Skip to content" link comes first on every page.
• Focus you can see. The item you are on has a visible outline.
• Less motion. If your device is set to reduce motion, we keep animation to a minimum.
• Images. Images that carry information have text descriptions. Decorative ones are hidden from screen readers.
• The checker and form. Fields have written labels, and errors are spelled out in words.
• Size. Pages are meant to fit narrow screens without sideways scrolling.

Some parts may still fall short. If you find one, please tell us.

If a page, the checker or the form does not work for you, or you would like the information another way, tell us. We can read a page to you over the phone or send it by email. We can also take your waitlist request by phone instead of the form.
